Job Description

 

Full-time 40 hrs/week.    Directs & supervises day to day nursing operations and patient flow.    Directs & supervises day to day nursing operations and patient flow; supervises  the delivery of safe, quality patient care through effective utilization of staff; participates in direct patient care as necessary; interacts with physicians, staff, patients and the public; serves as a clinical resource for nurses and other health care providers; assists with quality monitoring and policy/procedure development and implementation; responsible for staff scheduling throughout the assigned nursing units.    Current NV RN license required, Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field strongly preferred, current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC and NRP certification required within 1 year of hire.  Certified fetal monitoring continuing education recommended.  FIVE years clinical nursing experience required.  Previous supervisory experience preferred.
