Job Description

Responsibilities include:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Ensure that the service crews align with and continuously improve site environmental, health, safety and loss control systems.
• Promote a culture of fair and good relationships with production, development, support, and maintenance crews.
• Achieve production and cost budgets in conjunction with support, maintenance, and technical services.
• Ensure that training and continuous improvement are integrated into services processes.
• Ensure fixed plant, materials handling, and back fill are in compliance with site standards and procedures.

 

This position is at Barrick's Turqouise Ridge Mine.  Turquoise Ridge is an Underground Mine located near Winnemucca, NV.

Job Requirements

 BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:

• Minimum of five (5) years underground mining experience showing progressively increasing responsibility required
• Three (3) years experience in supervisory or lead role required
• Sound understanding and track record with underground safety and environmental issues and performance required
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral required
• Excellent safety and attendance record required
