Job Description

The Community Programs Coordinator will deliver and assist with planning and coordination of all of the community outreach programs of Nevada Outdoor School including Water Canyon interpretive hike series, summer conservation events, and other family interpretive programs.  The member will learn and teach about the history and ecology of the areas surrounding Winnemucca.  Education award at end of service of $2363.

Job Requirements

·     18 or older

·     US citizen or equivalent

·     High School Diploma/GED

·     Basic Computer skills- Word, Excel, Publisher

·     Flexibility regarding work schedule including ability to work at weekend events.

·     Self motivated and flexibility in working in a multi-task environment

·     Current Driver's License required

·     Ability to communicate and work with a diverse population

·     Experience working with volunteers

·     Enjoy the outdoors
